Who is Tex Star Power?
Tex Star Power Group, LLC, also known as Tex Star Power, is an electrical contracting company. We are based out of Boerne, Texas but travel as far south as downtown San Antonio to take care of our clients.
We provide commercial and residential services such as new construction, remodels, service and repairs, panel swaps, service entrances, 24/7 emergency service and much more.
We are licensed and fully insured and can pull permits in San Antonio. Our license number is TECL#34816.
Our Backstory
Tex Star Power opened it’s doors in January 2020, but we are not new to the electrical industry.
For the past 25 years, we owned a successful and well respected, family-owned electrical contracting business in Phoenix, Arizona.
In 2019, we knew it was time for a change and felt strongly that we needed to move our family to Texas. We came out to Boerne a few times to test the waters and fell in love with the people and beautiful hill country area. In January 2020, we decided to make the move.
We are excited to call Texas our new home and are looking forward to building our life and company here in Boerne.
Commercial Electricians
In the past 25 years, we have completed many commercial projects of all different sizes and industries. Our projects have varied widely in scope, from schools, vet hospitals, restaurants, machine and printing shops, commercial office buildings and large townhouse complexes.
We understand the complexities of commercial work and know how to manage any size project.
Residential Electricians
The majority of the projects that we have done in the past 25 years have been high-end custom homes. We have worked closely with some of the top builders and designers in the industry to built the most exquisite and breathtaking homes in the Phoenix Valley.
We look forward to bringing that knowledge, experience and reputation to Boerne, Texas where we know our clients’ expectations will be exceeded.

Our Story
Who is Cory Langford
In 1994, Cory Langford started his career as an electrician in Phoenix, Arizona. Over the next 25 years, he and his family built a successful electrical contracting company with the knowledge and versatility to do any type of electrical project in the industry.
Recently, he and his wife felt it was time for a change and knew Boerne, Texas was where they needed to be. In January 2020, Cory and his wife moved their 4 boys to the beautiful hill country. They started Tex Star Power Group, LLC, an electrical contracting company offering commercial and residential services to Boerne, San Antonio and the surrounding hill country.
Cory is well know and respected as an industry leader in providing electrical services for high-end custom homes. He spent the last 25 years providing electrical and lighting services for over 100 high-end custom homes. He knows how to work with builders, designers and homeowners.
He has an ability to connect with people in a real and personal way.
Cory is not just another electrician. His knowledge of electricity and how it works exceeds that of most electricians. Because of his abilities and expertise, he is able to solve electrical issues that other electricians can’t.
